Unix Social Camp v5.3 was dubbed SE, for Systems Exploration, with an explicit focus on OpenBSD, being an operating system of particular interest to several club members, some of which first encountered Puffy back in 2002 with OpenBSD 2.9.

Still, we felt like reaching out to fellow enthusiasts with experience spanning further back in order to bring more of us into the fold, and that’s how Joel’s presentation came to be:
